Company sues Missouri cannabis firm embroiled in recall
An Arkansas-based cannabis firm claims that a Missouri company knowingly sold it cannabis products that couldn’t be sold in the Show-Me State, according to a lawsuit filed earlier this month.
Dark Horse Medicinal Missouri filed a petition against Delta Extractions in Shelby County Circuit Court in northeast Missouri, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
It follows a move to suspend Delta’s operations and recall thousands of its products, alleging that they could not verify that the products used Missouri-grown cannabis, as required by law.
This marks the latest legal battle for Delta as they are trying to overturn a license suspension by asking a Cole County judge to reverse the product recall.
