Mo. US Senator Schmitt on armed services, passage of NDAA

Missouri’s military installations and support industries are standing by while Congress finalizes the defense spending bill. 

Missouri’s Eric Schmitt is on the Senate Armed Services Committee and added to the bill reimbursement to spouses when they have to move and pay for new professional licenses or certifications:

According to Schmitt:  “It’s a bipartisan act called the “military spouse career support act” to help during relocations as they are moving from one military location to another, whether they are a nurse or a teacher, this really helps them to seamlessly get involved in their new community.”

The Missouri Legislature also approved honoring licenses and certifications from different states for spouses.
