Visitation, service scheduled for Sen. Ron Richard

Services are now scheduled for former Senator Ron Richard of Joplin who died late last week of bladder cancer at age 75.

The visitation will be Tuesday, June 13, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at MSSU North End Zone Facility.

Richard was a member of the MSSU Board of Governors.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 14, 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Joplin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Connect2Culture Joplin, Missouri Southern University Foundation, and the Carl Richard Scholarship Youth Bowling Program in care of Parker Mortuary in Joplin.
