Woman Injured When Tree Falls On Truck

A Verona woman was injured when a tree fell on top of her truck early Thursday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 27-year-old Misty Howard was northbound on County Road 1150, east of Monett, around 4:30 a.m. when a tree fell on top of her Chevy Silverado. Howard sustained only minor injures. The truck was heavily damaged.
