Single-car accident injures man from Eldorado Springs

An accident a little before dawn this morning on a County Road about 8 miles south of Eldorado Springs has sent a man from that community to the hospital.

State troopers say the accident occurred on County Road 425 at 4:43 a.m. when a Ford F-350 pickup driven by 37-year-old Justin S. Swager ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the roadway struck a fence and a ditch and then overturned.

Swager suffered moderate injuries.

He was taken to Cedar County Memorial Hospital.
