Man from Carl Junction dies in Arkansas crash

A crash in Eureka Springs, Arkansas has taken the life of a man from Carl Junction.

The accident took place yesterday afternoon at State Highway 23 and County Road 102 in Eureka Springs.

A motorcycle operated by 46-year-old Dennis Gacus of Carl Junction struck another car while attempting to make a left turn.

The accident report from the Arkansas Highway Patrol says Gacus was “negotiating a left hand curve at a high rate of speed.”

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
