Woman hit by train in Tulsa

A woman was hospitalized after being hit by a train early this morning in Tulsa.

Police reportedly say the woman, who was standing on the railroad tracks, was hit as she was trying to flag down the oncoming train near Pine and Harvard.

The  train did attempt to stop by putting on its brakes but the woman was struck anyway.

Police describe her injuries as minor.
