Wednesday marks three-year anniversary of Foster disappearance
$5,000 Governor's Reward offered
INDEPENDENCE, KS-The Independence Police Department (IDP) is seeking information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the missing person case of Detreck Foster.
Foster was reported missing on May 12th, 2020.
IPD reports he was last seen alive on April12th of 2020.
Information uncovered during the investigation indicates Foster was likely murdered.
Any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Foster’s disappearance will be eligible for a Governor’s Reward of up to $5,000.
Foster would be 40 years-old now and was described as 5’9” tall, 190 lbs., black male.
After three years IPD continues to chase down every lead. “Our investigators continue to dedicate themselves to the task of bringing Detreck home to his family” said Chief Jerry Harrison.
IPD reminds everyone Detreck is a father, brother, and son and is missed dearly by his loved ones and friends. IPD urges anyone that has information to help bring Detreck home.
