Joplin SWAT apprehend KC homicide suspect

Joplin Police SWAT team members have apprehended a murder suspect out of Kansas City, who had barricaded himself in a home in the Royal Heights Neighboorhood.

Police worked the scene for just over an hour in the 1800 block of North St. Charles Avenue and were able to get the man out of that residence without incident.

There is no further threat. His name has not been released.
