Joplin City Council to consider Memorandums of Understanding
The Joplin City Council meets Monday night.
One of the items on the agenda is a proposed ordinance approving a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by and between the City of Joplin and the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce to participate in a partnership with the Joplin Regional Alliance for Health Care and Health Science.
The measure would also approve a contribution of $80,000 for the purpose of pursuing an economic development plan.
Also, council members will consider authorizing the City of Joplin to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of Webb City for the purpose of street construction improvements associated with the Zora Widening from Rangeline to MO-249 Project.
The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall at 602 S. Main.
