Spire Gas request rate hike

We need more money!  

That’s the plea from Spire Gas to the Missouri Public Service Commission.  

If approved, average customers in western Missouri would pay just under eleven dollars a month more.   

In a public hearing in Kansas City last month, Spire explained the company is seeking the rate increase for a revenue deficiency.   

The decision on the rate hike expected early in 2023.
