Two injured in Barry County accident
A two-car accident on Rt. 37 about 2 miles south of Washburn in Barry County around 8 p.m. Friday night resulted in injuries to two men.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report says the accident occurred when a pickup truck driven by 32-year-old Robert R. Gonzales of Seligman struck a car driven by 93-year-old Lennis Rose of Washburn.
The report said the accident occurred when Gonzales was attempting to pass Rose.
Rose suffered serious injuries. He was transferred to a hospital in Rogers Arkansas.
Gonzales had moderate injuries. He was taken to a hospital in Springfield.
