City of Joplin accepting bids for purchase, redevelopment of former library

Looking for a location for a new business?

The City of Joplin is accepting bids for the purchase and redevelopment of the old downtown library at 4th and Main in the city.

The building was vacated after the new City Library opened on 20th Street.

The city gave the building to Missouri Southern but later, MSSU transferred ownership back to the city.
