Beloved radio programs to record live at PSU

PITTSBURG, Kan. – Tickets are selling quickly for Mountain Stage, one of the most beloved programs in public radio history, which is coming to the campus of Pittsburg State University on Oct. 23 to record a live concert at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts.
For nearly 40 years, Mountain Stage has stood as one of the most beloved and enduring programs in public radio history, broadcasting thousands of raw, unforgettable performances by rising stars and veteran legends from a humble studio in Charleston, West Virginia. It can be heard on nearly 300 public radio stations nationwide.
Grammy-winning host Kathy Mattea and musicians Jesse Milnes and Emily Miller, John Fullbright, Martha Scanlan, Matt the Electrician, and Willi Carlisle will perform in Pittsburg’s concert.
The program will begin at 7 p.m. in the Linda & Lee Scott Performance Hall.

Discounted tickets for PSU students, faculty, and staff are available with valid PSU ID when purchased and picked up in person at the ticket office in Room 137 of the Garfield Weede Building.
