Joplin, MO – The Joplin Area Habitat for Humanity partnered with The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s (NRMCA) Build With Strong Coalition to build an insulated concrete form (ICF) home for a family in Joplin.
ICFs are an innovative, resilient, and sustainable construction method. Durability and resiliency are key building characteristics to consider in an area experiencing ever increasing extreme weather.
In addition to the ICF partnership with NRMCA, General Mills donated $50,000 towards this Veteran Build home.
Thanks to NRMCH and General Mills, Marine veteran Tim Peay and his family have a beautiful and well-built house to call home.
