Accident near Neosho on U.S. 60 injures two
A two-car accident on U.S. 60 about a half-mile east of Neosho has resulted in injuries to two people around 9:25 Monday night.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a car driven by 89-year-old Johnny W. Bone of Tuscon, Arizona slowed and made a U-Turn in the roadway.
It was struck by a vehicle driven by a truck driven by 73-year-old Max L. Adcock of Granby. Adcock was not injured.
Bone suffered serious injuries. A passenger in his vehicle, 83-year-old Emma L. Daniel of Tuscon, received moderate injuries.
They were transported to Freeman West hospital in Joplin for treatment.
