The 10th annual Big Red Shoe fundraiser

The Ronald McDonald House of Charities of the Four States is hosting their 10th annual Big Red Shoe fundraiser! The Big Red Shoe event aims to raise money to provide care and comfort to families of seriously ill children in the four states area.

This year’s Big Red Shoe will be hosted on September 24th and features 3 different races. A 5k with an entrance fee of $35, a kids 800m dash with an entrance fee of $20, and a 1 mile walk with an entrance fee of $25. Registration is open and t-shirts will be given to those who register before September 10th.

The morning of the 24th gets kicked off with the kids 800m dash starting at 8 in the morning, then makes way for the 5k starting at 8:20 and, to wrap it all up, the 1 mile walk at 8:25.

Once all races are finished and times are logged awards will be distributed for the top over all male and female contender, as well as for top male and female finishers in each age group.
