18-year-old arrested for drugs, outstanding warrants
An 18-year-old man is facing drug charges after a welfare check in Galena, Kansas, Tuesday.

Upon arrival, contact was made with Gabriel Davis in Room 16. Suspected Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia were laying in plain view in the room. Davis was taken into custody, and the room was secured. Officers secured a search warrant, and returned. During the search of the room, more suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located.
Davis is currently being held at the Cherokee County jail in lieu of a $6,000 bond for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition to the narcotics charges, Davis is also being held on two warrants out of Jasper County, Missouri.
