Suspect in custody after bomb detonates in Parsons

A 63-year-old man is in custody after a bomb was detonated in Parsons, Kansas, Monday morning.

The Labette County Sheriff’s Office says the explosion took place in a dumpster near the Judicial Center just before 5am.

James Dale Sutton was booked into jail Monday afternoon for the alleged crimes.

No one was injured.
