Elderly Joplin Woman Terrorized By Masked Men During Home Invasion
An elderly Joplin woman was terrorized by two masked men who tied her up and burglarized her home Wednesday morning. News Talk KZRG caught with Joplin Police Captain Trevor Duncan who say the men broke into the victim’s home just before 8:30 a.m which is located just northeast of downtown.
“An elderly female had two males force their way into her house, and tie her up. Her valuables were stolen as well as her vehicle.”
The two suspects then abandoned the car nearby and fled in their own vehicle that’s believed to be a late 90’s red Dodge Ram pickup without license plates.
One of the suspects is described as a white male, 5’10, a “small mustache,” and dark black hair wearing a ball cap and a brown or camouflage coat. The second suspect was described as a noticeably taller white male, but no description was given. She says both of the men were wearing a mask.
