Joplin Board of Education to meet Tuesday night.

The Joplin R-8 Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, July 26th. An open meeting will begin at 6 p.m.

Among items on the agenda will be contracts and Memorandums of Understanding with schools, autism centers, healthcare-related providers and other entities in the region.

Board members will also consider the replacement of the turf at the JHS softball field; health plan  design changes and premium increases and the system’s Employee Assistance Program.

The open meeting will be preceded by a closed meeting set to begin at 5:15 p.m.

The Board meets in the School Administration Building at 825 S. Pearl Ave.
