Two illegal immigrants charged by Federal Grand Jury in Oklahoma
Thousands of immigrants are said to be illegally crossing the southern border.
At least two of those were charged by a Federal Grand Jury last week with breaking the law by returning to the U.S. after having been legally removed.
37-year-old Samuel Goana-Gonzalez, a Mexican national, is charged with unlawfully being in the U.S. after having been removed in 2008 in Hidalgo,Texas.
In a separate case, 28-year old Ruben Vega Escobar, an El Salvador national, is charged with unlawfully residing in the U.S. after having been removed from the country in 2019 near Alexandria, Louisiana.
Both individuals are charged under indictments returned in in the first week of this month by a Federal Grand Jury in the Northern District of Oklahoma.
