Convicted Murder Dies At Jefferson City Correctional Center
A man convicted of murder has died in a central Missouri prison.
65-year-old Charles Anglin had been incarcerated since 1986 and died of natural causes at the Jefferson City Correctional Center.
He was convicted of shooting a man to death at a car wash in Boone County and stealing his wallet, and was sentenced to life without parole.
In 2005, Anglin had sought to have his conviction tossed out, arguing that statements he made to police admitting he committed the murder were “involuntary.”
