Man from St. Charles drowns in Table Rock Lake

A man from St. Charles, Missouri has drowned in Table Rock Lake in Barry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 65-year-old Kenneth R. Hedges had been paddling his boat due to engine failure when he fell out of the boat and drowned around 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

The Patrol report says he was not wearing a life safety device.

The drowning took place a mile and three-quarters downstream from Hickory Hollow Resort on Table Rock Lake.
