Joplin Schools adds Stone as Community Engagement, Bright Futures coordinator

JOPLIN, Mo. – Joplin Schools is pleased to announce Amanda Stone as the new Community Engagement Coordinator and Coordinator of Bright Futures Joplin. 

A Carthage High School graduate, Ms. Stone attended Missouri Southern State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. 

Ms. Stone worked as a writer at The Joplin Globe, where she was later promoted to Marketing Manager, 

Most recently, Ms. Stone served as the News and Media Relations Coordinator at Missouri Southern State University, working as a liaison between the university president’s office and key local stakeholders.
