Council to consider lodging rules, feral cat ordinance Monday night
The Joplin City Council meets Monday night.
Among the items on the agenda will be consideration of inspections and rules that apply to Joplin’s 24 lodging establishments.
The Council will be talking about how the city should handle regulatory authority including the issuing of permits, the charging of fees and suspension and revocation of permits for food, swimming pools and other things.
Council members also will consider a feral cat ordinance.
The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers in City Hall at 602 S. Main.
