Miami resident facing multiple felony charges

A man from Miami, Oklahoma is facing multiple felony charges.

Federal prosecutors say 51-year-old Jesse Clay Miles, Jr. of Miami was among 25 people indicted last week by a Federal Grand Jury in Oklahoma.

Federal prosecutors say Miles was a felon in possession of a 32 caliber pistol and 217 rounds of ammunition.

He is also charged with possessing with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug crime.

He also faces charges for using a residence in Miami for the purpose of distributing drugs.

The case is being investigated by the DEA and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
