Monett Special Response Team recovers stolen items, detains three

In Monett, two adult women and one juvenile were detained Friday after police located a stolen vehicle they believe was involved in a burglary.

When officers tried to question the driver, the individual ran into a residence near Myrtle and Lincoln streets.

An 18-year-old woman was detained.

In the meantime, the Monett Special Reponse Team moved in with a search warrant. Then the other woman, age 25, and a juvenile also were detained.

Police say stolen items were located during the search of the residence.

The investigation continues.
