Joplin brothers arrested after juvenile girls found in home
Two men from Joplin are facing charges in connection to an alleged kidnapping and alleged sex crimes involving two teenagers.
Jasper County Sheriff Randee Kaiser tells us that on Friday, January 21, 2022, deputies responded to a welfare check of a 13-year-old female juvenile who was reported missing out of East Prairie, Missouri.
An investigation found that 19-year-old Grant Henson had driven five hours to East Prairie, where he picked up the 13-year-old girl, drove her back to his residence on Cactus Lane in Joplin, held against her will and sexually assaulted her.
Grant was arrested and charges were filed by the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for first-degree Kidnapping and first-degree Sodomy. He is being held without bond.
Also during the investigation, 22-year-old Bryan Henson was found to be with a 16-year-old female juvenile at the residence.
Bryan was arrested and charges were filed for second-degree Statutory Rape with a $100,000 bond.
