Joplin man enters guilty pleas to four felonies
A preliminary plea agreement has resulted in a guilty plea to four felonies, including one charge of trafficking drugs from 42-year-old Ryan X. Johnson of Joplin.
Johnson pleaded guilty to second degree drug trafficking, delivery of a controlled substance, driving while intoxicated and unlawful use of a weapon on Thursday in Jasper county Circuit Court
Johnson was busted by ODET, the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team in 2019.
Police had seized a number of drugs in that and another arrest in 2020 including alleged methamphetamine, marijuana, alprazolam and oxycodone, along with several guns.
Formal acceptance of the plea deal still remains to be made by the Court.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for March 31st.
