MSSU to host Mass Band Day event Saturday, October 30

Various surrounding schools will also participate in the event

Missouri Southern State University will host Mass Band Day on Saturday, October 30.

During the event, high-school musicians from the surrounding area marching bands will also participate.

Mass Band Day gives students the chance to perform while also presenting the opportunity for networking with MSSU’s music faculty and marching band members.

These schools will be highlighted in the Halloween-themed halftime show, which includes Webb City High School, Seneca High School, and Diamond High School.

A news release from Missouri Southern State University says, “They will arrive at 10 a.m., then do sectional work with MSSU faculty starting at 10:30 a.m. Students will eat lunch in the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center and then attend the football game vs. Missouri Western at 2 p.m.”
