City Council to consider several items Monday night
The Joplin City Council meet at 6 p.m. Monday night in City Hall. Several items are on the agenda.
The emergency ordinance measures include a purchase with Ace Pipe Cleaning for the evaluation and rehabilitation of the city’s Wastewater Collection System.
The Council will also consider an Animal Sheltering Agreement between the Joplin Humane Society and the City of Joplin.
Also up for discussion will be a $620,000 contract between the Department of Health and Senior Services and the City to allow the Joplin Health Department to provide nutritional assistance and education to area residents.
The meeting gets underway at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers on the 5th floor of City Hall at 602 S. Main St.
