Manufacturing Day Innovation & Opportunities Expo set for tomorrow in Neosho

Numerous groups including MOKAN Partnership, the Workforce Investment Board of Southwest Missouri, and other various manufacturers will host the Manufacturing Day Innovation & Opportunities Expo on Thursday, October 14 for area students.

This is a nationwide effort through the month of October to shine a spotlight on the manufacturing industry and the opportunities that a career in manufacturing can provide.

The event will take place tomorrow, October 14, at the Newton County Fairgrounds in Neosho and will be from 9 AM to 3 PM.

This event is part of an effort to meet the rising demand for skilled professionals in the manufacturing industry who can program, design, and operate technology.
