Pittsburg Police investigate early-morning stabbing

Pittsburg Police say a stabbing took place in that city around 6:30 this morning (Friday).

The stabbing reportedly occurred in the 1100 block of east 9th Street in Pittsburg.

The 38-year-old victim remains in the Intensive Care Unit of a local hospital.

29-year-old Steven Taylor, Jr. of Pittsburg is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Taylor was transported to the Crawford County jail for booking and is currently being held on a $25,000 bond.
