Man from Pittsburg who previously registered as sex offender to face additional time in prison
Jason Wayne Irving was sentenced to 25 years for his crime of Distribution of Child Pornography
A man from Pittsburg, Kansas who previously had to register as a sex offender will now face additional time in prison.
38-year-old Jason Wayne Irving was sentenced to 25 years for his crime of Distributing Child Pornography.
The victim was a 12-year-old boy.
Court documents say that Irving admitted to an instance in 2019 when he used his email address to upload and send pornographic photos of children. Google detected Irving’s activity and linked the activity to Irving.
Once a search warrant was obtained for Irving’s smartphone, authorities found various Google and Facebook accounts that had been reported for child pornography, as well as various files of child porn.
Jason Irving is currently in the Butler County Jail.
