City of Joplin accepting online payments again

The City of Joplin is able to accept online payments again.

The City had lost the ability to accept the payments after a security incident took place involving the City’s computer system a few weeks ago.

In addition to online payments, in-person payments can be made by credit card at both the Finance Department window for utility bills and the Municipal Court offices for court fines.

City officials say the investigation into the security incident remains ongoing.
