Woman from Nevada facing charges of Forgery and Burglary
The incident was first reported June 7
A burglary earlier this month led to a case of stolen identity, according to the Nevada Missouri Police Department.
The victim originally told Nevada authorities about the event on June 7, where the victim stated accounts had been opened up in their name and that the suspect had also purchased a vehicle using the victim’s identity.
Later on this month on June 16, authorities searched a resident in the 300 block of W. Allison Street in response to the original burglary investigation.
Nevada police located several items of evidence that were linked to the original report.
A female suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Vernon County Jail.
29-year-old Nevada resident Ashlee M Perez had numerous charges filed against her including: One County of Burglary 2nd Degree, One Count of Forgery, and One Count of Possession of a Deface Firearm.
Perez is being held in the Vernon County jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond.
