Emmanuel Baptist Church to host Chosen Road concert in May
The event supports the mission of the Missouri Baptist Children's Home
Emmanuel Baptist Church in Webb City will be holding a concert for gospel bluegrass group Chosen Road.
The “Concert of Hope” will be May 2nd and start at 5 pm in Memorial Park located at 423 W Daugherty St. in Webb City.
The concert will support the mission of the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home.
A release from the Emmanuel Baptist Church says, “On an annual basis in the state of Missouri more than 16,000 children are in foster/relative care, more than 2,500 children are waiting for adoption, more than 2,000 children live in residential care facilities, more than 68,000 incidents of child abuse involving nearly 100,000 children are reported, 1 in 7 children experienced abuse or neglect, hundreds of girls are enslaved in human trafficking, and 1 out of 10 children will be sexually abused before age 18.”
Attendees are encourage to bring long chairs.
Flounders Fish and Chips and Hershey’s Ice Cream food trucks will be serving at 4 PM.
