Liberal man facing manslaughter after fatal crash in February

A man from Liberal, Missouri, who allegedly caused a fatal crash north of Joplin in late February, is now facing an involuntary manslaughter charge.

Police say 44-year-old Ryan O’Neal was going around 84 mph in a 55 mph zone when he crossed the center-line of Route 43 and hit 23-year-old Sevie Davison of Oronogo head-on. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

An arrest warrant has been issued for O’Neal with a $50,000 bond.
