Two arrested for alleged trafficking of meth while on their way to Grove
They had attempted to conceal the narcotics under the seat.
The Miami Police Department announced Sunday that they had taken two females into custody for their role in alleged drug transportation. Upon inspection of the vehicle, it was discovered the suspects had made attempts to conceal the narcotics under the seat.
Reports from the Miami Police Department, in partnership with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department and the 13th District Drug and Violent Crimes task force, say 8 pounds of methamphetamine were intercepted on the way to Grove.
Renee Hayes was arrested on a previous warrant of Trafficking Methamphetamine along with new trafficking and conspiracy charges.
Tiffany Dean was also arrested for aggravated trafficking and conspiracy.
Both individuals were booked and are currently in Ottawa County Jail.
