Missouri Governor Mike Parson encourages people to get the Covid-19 vaccine at Kanas City vaccination event

A mega vaccination event is happening today in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium today, with another on the way tomorrow.

A total of 8,000 doses of the Johnson and Jonson Jansen will be deployed throughout the event.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson had this to say to people who are hesitant about getting vaccinated,

“I want to encourage everyone to get a vaccine that feels comfortable with it. The First Lady and I have both had the vaccine. I do think it’s important to realize where you’re at, where your health issues are, and make sure you protect yourself and protect other people. I want to encourage people to take the vaccine. I believe it is the right thing to do.”
