Sunday afternoon crash results in serious injuries for one driver.
One driver crossed the median and collided with the other vehicle.
Just after 5 PM Sunday afternoon, authorities were alerted to a crash that occurred near Iris Road on I-49.
Newton County Sheriff’s Deputies, Newton County ambulance, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and other agencies responded to the scene.
28-year-old Lamar resident Todd Beaudry was driving Northbound on I-49, when he crossed the median and collided with 58-year-old North Little Rock resident William Bradford which caused Bradford to overturn.
Beaudry suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Joplin.
Bradford and his passengers did not suffer injuries.
Beaudry was not wearing a seatbelt.
