Mobile Covid-19 testing units being deployed in Kansas starting today.
The units will be in Douglas, Sumner, and Butler County
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is launching three mobile testing units for Covid-19 to expand testing access across the state and provide rapid response, according to a news release from KDHE
The testing units will be located in Douglas, Sumner, and Butler County.
The Douglas County location will be at Baldwin City Public Library on 800 7th Street every Monday in March between 9 am – 1 pm.
The Sumner County location will be at Cowley College Sumner Campus Community room at 2208 Davis-White Loop in Wellington every Tuesday between 10 am – 6 pm.
The Butler County location will be at the Andover Police Department on 909 N Andover every Wednesday between March 10 am – 6 pm.
These mobile testing areas will focus on at-risk communities that are not easily served by fixed testing sites.
These vans will be self-contained with their own supplies, technology, and customer service.
