Sunday morning crash kills one and injures two others in Kansas.
Early Sunday morning just after 3 AM, Crawford County Deputies responded to an accident that happened north of the intersection of 100th Street and US-400 Hwy.
Reports from Crawford County say vehicle #1 was northbound from 100th Street and US-400 Hwy when the driver 25-year-old Savannah Murrilo struck a concrete culvert causing the vehicle to roll.
Murillo and Destiny Sprenkle, his front passenger, were trapped in the overturned vehicle and required extrication from first responders.
Murrilo’s rear passenger John Shallenburger sustained minor injuries and was able to exit the vehicle.
All occupants were from Columbus, KS.
Murrilo was pronounced dead at the scene. Sprenkle was transported to Ascension Via Christi.
Shallenburger declined medical treatment.
Crawford County EMS, McCune Fire Department, and Sheridan Fire Department assisted with the accident.
