Car accident causes road closure Tuesday afternoon.

A single-vehicle crash with an overturned SUV occurred just after 2:45 PM Tuesday afternoon on I-49 near the 67MM. This incident caused a temporary driving lane closure.

Barton County Sheriff’s Deputies, Barton County Ambulance, and Jasper Fire Department all responded to the scene.

The four occupants of the SUV were outside the vehicle when authorities arrived.

Each of these individuals declined medical care.
