DWI accident with an Infant in the car

Driving while intoxicated, and crashing will land you behind bars. Doing so with an infant in the car with you, that’s inexcusable.

Neosho resident, 30-year-old, Niccara Varela was arrested Sunday night after she crashed into a pond. Varela and her infant passenger were on Quince Road south of seneca when Verala drove off of the roadway, through a fence and ended up in a pond where the car sank to the bottom.

Thankfully, the driver and passenger were treated for only minor injuries. Niccara faces charges of DWI, endangering the welfare of a child and more.
