Up in flames

Historic apartment complex fire.    Joplin fire crews called to a fire at the former Olivia Apartments at 4th and Moffett around 10:00 last night.   The building had not been used since 2006 when the city claimed it was uninhabitable.    The building was built in 1906 and was listed as a historic landmark.   There was a current effort to restore the building that was still in the early stages.   More details on the fire and damage as they become available.
