Meals On Wheels needs your help

Meals On Wheels needs your help.  Southwest Missouri’s Area Agency on Aging Region X delivers about five thousand meals a week to homebound seniors.  Due to the covid 19 outbreak, funding and volunteer help has dropped.   Because of the state shortfall in tax revenues coming in, Meals on Wheels has seen a cut back in funding.  Because most of the volunteers are seniors, they are trying to stay safe from the virus.  Donations are tax deductible and can be made to the Area Agency on Aging Region X.
