Four more deaths due to COVID-19 in Jasper County

The Jasper County Health Department Friday afternoon reported four more deaths of Jasper County residents due to COVID-19.

This brings the total number to seventy-five.

The residents include four males one each in his 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

The Department urges all citizens to take preventive measures to avoid and thereby mitigate the virus.

These include avoiding gatherings of over 10 people, social distancing, wearing masks, washing hands frequently and completely, staying away from work when sick, and cleaning and disinfecting surfaces.
