Car chase ends in crash Wednesday night.

A police chase started with a suspected impaired driver and ended with a crash, with one man, Daniel Craig, behind bars for vehicle theft. 

Around 9:30 p.m. last night, Joplin Police attempted a traffic stop for an f-150, which then tried to flee. After a short chase on Rangeline, 20th, and then north on Rex, the truck crashed into a parked truck in the 1100 block of Rex.

The driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and was also found to be intoxicated. The Truck had been reported as stolen. Charges are pending. We will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
